Club Projects
Sandy Springs Library Reading Garden
The Sandy Springs Garden Club supports the Sandy Springs Library Reading Garden at the Sandy Springs Library through fundraising (2023 Pathways to Reading Fundraiser) and donation of materials. They participate in workdays as needed.
Gardening at the Mann House
The Sandy Springs Garden Club supports the Mann House Assisted Living Facility by freshening up the gardens in their courtyard. For more photos of our work at the Mann House, see our photo album
Feed The Birds
Each fall and winter the Sandy Springs Garden Club takes their turn keeping the bird feeders full in the park at Heritage Sandy Springs. Members fill the feeders weekly and supply the necessary bird seed. They also replace the feeders as necessary.
Decorating the Williams Payne House
Each December the Sandy Springs Garden Club works on decorating the Williams-Payne House museum for the holidays. Since the home is an 1860;s farmhouse, the club decorates with only natural materials found on the property or in members yards. Each year we get together and make all of the decorations to put on the house and white picket fence that surrounds the house.
The Daffodil Mile – 2015
The Sandy Springs Garden Club supported the Daffodil Mile project, a project to plant a “mile” of daffodils in honor of cancer patients. The “mile” was along a new city park, Abernathy Greenway. The daffodils have been enjoyed for many years. (For more information, see).

Williams-Payne House Holiday Decorating 2023
We had an incredible turn out for decorating the Williams Payne House this year. Under the successful leadership of Shelly Mulick, we created a natural decor for the historic house. A big thanks to Oakland Cemetery and Abra Lee for donating many of the beautiful greens. We were so lucky to have sunny skies and mild temperatures this year!
