We had a fun guided tour of Smith-Gilbert Gardens. We learned about the original owner of the property and why they selected the plantings that they did. We were also able to enjoy the beautiful Bonsai garden which began as the collection from one of the original owners.
Lunch was at a lively restaurant in downtown Acworth. We enjoyed meeting Chef Henry and we each received Mardi Gras beads from him as we entered his restaurant.
If you have the opportunity to visit the Smith Gilbert Garden in Kennesaw its a charming gem. One of the highlights is the Bonsai Garden. Carrie and Chris both enjoyed the Bonsais.

ABG Flower Show 2024
We had two separate groups go to the ABG Flower Show in February. One group went on Friday February 23 and one went on Saturday February 24. We all enjoyed the beauty that is a flower show in winter.
